Top Shops for Baby Clothing
Arguably one of the exciting times for any expectant mother is shopping for all the tiny baby clothes. We love to imagine our little babe in cute outfits, and obsess over everything because it’s so cute and tiny. As a mother myself I remember having so much fun shopping, but also struggling to find affordable shops with quality clothing for my little ones. I’ve decided to break down my top 5 for newborn clothing in a couple different categories because it’s just so fun.
We’re breaking it down by affordability, to make sure we can keep babies cute and in diapers. Trendy shops, for the moms that want baby to be looking stylish right from the womb, and lastly, my favorite, because there were just too many to choose from! I’ve found small businesses that I love as well, and I’m sharing it all right here!
It can be hard to find clothes that are good quality and cute while staying on budget. As a new parent you’re going to want to give your child the world, but sometimes you’ll spend $20 on a shirt, that they’ll end up wearing twice. Introducing the affordability category, not only are we keeping it budget friendly, but it’s going to be cute! I’ve narrowed down to a couple of my favorites.
Affordable Favorites
Target - May seem like the obvious answer, but Target is an incredible affordable option. They have an incredible return policy with their clothing, and have coupons for 20% off frequently. They carry a variety of brands in store that make for an enjoyable shopping experience.
Marshall’s / TJ Maxx - Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are some of my favorite places to shop at because it’s always a surprise on what you’re going to find. Their clothing is on the affordable side being a surplus business, with name brand baby clothes at affordable prices. I’ve found Carter, Jessica Simpson, Puma, Target brands, and even Gerber clothing in their stores. One of my favorite stops for a cute new outfit for a baby shower, or even my grandbabies!
Trendy Favorites
Looking for options that keep up with the latest trends and will keep your baby looking stylish and cute. I’ve got a few of my favorite shops that do a great job of creating clothing that not only is trendy and stylish but practical for tiny babes!
Zara - Zara is the BEST for trendy and stylish baby clothes. They have a great variety of clothing at pretty good price points too. They have Disney characters, and so much more.
H & M Kids - Everything we love about H&M for adults for babies. Tons of basics that are great quality and pretty inexpensive! Great spot for shopping for the little man in your life! They have tons of great options for boys and girls, but definitely one of my favorite spots to shop for little man.
Target - Target made the list earlier for affordability but it’s going to make it again for trend! Target has been keeping up with the latest trends in their baby department for the last couple of years and it’s been so much fun to see. Not only are they inexpensive, but super cute. This year they put out biker shorts in the toddler department! So dang cute and perfect for Spring/Summer. Also, only $4. It’s the best.

Just because there were so many cute options, I have to share my favorites too!
Copper Pearl - A small business that I love to support. They have the cutest options for baby including swaddles and cozy pajamas. They have fun bundles for bringing baby home from the hospital and keeping them snug and warm.
Old Navy - Everyone loves Old Navy and they have amazing sales year round and great quality clothes! Be careful, they run a tiny bit big!
Gap - Another classic, with such cute stuff for tinies!
Carter’s- A staple for any mama to be shopping for new baby. The best pajamas, and little outfits ever.
